Talk to strangers with a little preparation
A good stranger conversation starts with curiosity and clear boundaries. Rulxo offers video and voice modes for adults.
Open chat · 18+ onlyChoose how you want to talk
Video Mode uses your camera and microphone. Voice Mode is for audio conversations. Use interest tags such as music, gaming or languages to give matching context; a tag does not guarantee a shared interest.
Try a specific, low-pressure opener
Instead of asking for private details, ask what song they would recommend, which game they are playing or what they are learning. For language practice, agree on a language and ask whether they want corrections. Let a conversation end without pressure.
Set boundaries before sharing
You never owe a stranger your full name, location, social handle or another call. Mutual Sparks can exchange the handles you supplied when both participants choose to Spark. Treat any shared handle as information the other person can retain.
When a conversation feels wrong
Stop or skip if someone pressures you, asks for money or shows unwanted content. Use Report to tell the service about abuse. Reports and optional on-device analysis are safeguards with limits; they do not guarantee safe interactions or verified identities.
Questions before you start
Can I talk without showing my camera?
Choose Voice Mode for audio chat. In video mode you can also turn your camera off.
Can I choose a specific stranger?
Random matching connects available participants. Interests help guide matching but cannot guarantee a particular person or conversation.
Is stranger chat suitable for children?
No. Rulxo is restricted to adults 18 and older. The age acknowledgement is not identity verification.
